I'm not saying it can every time but I have gotten sub. I don't think it's any less quality then the 's and now is gaining aftermarket like the 's. Higher end models give you stiffer stocks, adjustable triggers and etc. But the barrels and actions are of similar quality. Plenty of accuracy potential here. But when you spend more, you get a better OEM stock, and a fancier trigger, axis heavier barrels. But the fundamental savage quality is there. And about the barrel, only way I pulled it off was handloads, plus a cold day, and axis couple minutes between shots to not savage the skinny barrel.
